Antique Mexican Saddle with excellent historical provenance. This saddle was owned by Don Silvano Barba Gonzalez (1895-1967), the governor of Jalisco, Mexico in the 1930s who was also the president of the charreria association ( Mexican rodeo). His brand is inlaid in pearl along with other intricate designs on the mesquite tree. Leather embroidered with piteado.

Saddle is in pristine condition and very usable. Available with or without the original herraje (silver conchos, silver trim and silver inlaid stirrups and buckles) shown in the photo. 

Price is $3500 or $6000 with the original silver herraje.
