Fantastic Sioux Indian Wars era rawhide saddle dating 1875-1890. These are very scarce in this well-preserved condition. Made of wood and horn antler secured completely with buffalo rawhide. Buckskin skirt exhibits a single lane of white, white-centered-rose, and navy blue beads along the edge along with wide, porcupine quill wrapped fringe. Wood and leather stirrups are from a Civil War era saddle and attached with buffalo hide. Seat size 12.25" x overall length 32".
