Awesome image of birds and beasts fleeing a prairie fire with a herd of bison front and center. The original can be found at the C.M. Russell Museum. Although not primarily known as an environmental artist, Russell produced 1,000 nature subjects out of his total of approx. 4,000 works in various media.
