EL CABALLO DEL MAR seahorse spade bit is a one of a kind bit handmade with sterling silver inlaid cheeks in a classic California coastal pattern. I designed the seahorse to be built on a profile of a Santa Barbara cheek bit so you get the balance of a classic Santa Barbara cheek but with a darling seahorse. The iron cheeks are tapered and beveled and are carefully balanced. This bit has a 5 1/4” wide traditional Spanish spade mouthpiece with hand rolled copper barrels on the braces and a copper cricket. The slobber bar also features a starfish in the center made of sterling silver. An absolutely stunning bit that your horse will love !! Asking 725.
