This is a very early, rare Les Garcia bit from the late 1950’s to early 1960’s era. Les Garcia opened his shop in Reno, Nevada in 1958 and this is certainly one of the early marked GARCIA marked bits from that business. Les Garcia was the son of the famous bit and spur maker G.S. Garcia.

The bit has a 5 1/8” mouth and the cheeks are 7 3/4” long. Well marked, 100 percent original and in excellent condition. Beautiful natural brown patina on cheeks and mouth. Beautiful sterling silver, and extra large hand engraved conchos on each cheek measure approximately 3” each. Asking 1650 obo.
