An absolutely stunning bit! This one of a kind bit design was created by Frank Rocha. Delicately sweeping sterling silver overlaid cheeks are made in the shape of a horse’s leg ending with a horse hoof at the bottom. The slobber bar has full sterling silver overlay with classic engraving. This is an exceptional bit and would be perfect for a farrier. You will not find another bit like this anywhere. The elegant cheeks have a nice amount of movement. 5 1/8” wide frog/segundo mouthpiece with a roller and copper striping on the rear of the cannon bar. Marked ROCHA.  In pristine condition and never used. This bit has been meticulously stored for the last 50 years and is from a 1970s archival collection of silver bridle bits from a California saddlery that closed 20 some years ago. Marked ROCHA.
