Les Garcia Elko star cheek bit with full sterling silver overlay and spade mouthpiece. In pristine condition for its age as it is in like-new condition and has never been used. Marked GARCIA. Measurements: : 7-1/2” x 5 1/8” wide mouthpiece with plenty of play in the cheeks.
Well marked, 100 percent original and in excellent condition. Beautiful natural patina on the full sterling silver overlay. This is a very beautiful Les Garcia bit from the late 1950’s to early 1960’s era. Les Garcia opened his shop in Reno, Nevada in 1958 and this is certainly one of the early marked GARCIA marked bits from that business. Les Garcia was the son of the famous bit and spur maker G.S. Garcia.
The bit has a 5 1/8” mouth and the cheeks are 7 1/2” long. Well marked, 100 percent original and in excellent condition. Beautiful patina on cheeks and mouth. Beautiful sterling silver engraving. Asking 850 obo.
