Beautifully beaded panels, with great colors, done in the lazy stitch style. All sinew sewn on buckskin. The quilled slats are in excellent condition. There is a quilled drop that hangs near the top of the bag. This is a beautiful example of a Northern Plains pipe or tobacco bag. (likely Sioux)  Bag is still soft and supple.  ca. 1870-80   dimensions:  41 inches long x 6 inches wide.
