Vintage California made 78 foot rawhide reata.

The beautifully made rawhide reata measures 3/8” wide and 78 feet long. This four strand reata is in perfect condition and retains its original hondo. No breaks, splices or repairs. It’s been kept indoors for a number of years and stored safely to preserve its integrity. It’s definitely suitable for using if you choose to do so. It’s rare to find a reata this long (78 feet) and in near perfect condition. This reata is the real deal. Its the last in a group of 4 reatas that I purchased in the Santa Ynez Valley from a relative of a prominent California vaquero Ray Ordway, one of the last of his kind.
