MIKE MORALES (1888-1934) INLAID SPURS - PUBLISHED ON THE COVER OF THE 1925 CATALOG

$2,600.00

Exquisite maker-marked "Morales" inside the heelband, this rare inlaid California pattern pair of spurs features a round center ornamented with seven silver buttons and striped shanks securing 20-pt rowels.  This pair of spurs is the exact pair pictured on the cover of the 1925 Mike Morales catalog.  This is the exact set up that Mike chose to feature, all the way down to the leather spur straps and the sterling silver flower conchos.

Spurs include swinging buttons, vaquero heelchains, and spur straps mounted with stylized and scalloped two-tier silver conchos. Exquisitely made and in excellent condition, with the clear maker mark, made circa pre 1925.
