Exceptional pair of Spanish Colonial/Early California style chiseled iron spurs by Joseph Delaronde of Glorieta, New Mexico
$850.00
Outstanding Early California/Spanish Colonial style spurs. These are probably one of the most attractive spurs I’ve ever owned. They are all hand forged and are one of a kind. Each spur has been painstakingly chiseled and chased to produce a beautiful pattern in the iron. Includes the original tooled leather straps with sterling silver spots. Joe de la Ronde is from Glorieta, NM and is world renowned for his Spanish Colonial ornamental iron work including spurs. Joe de la Ronde is a master of hand forged iron and is listed in the book “Bits & Spurs - Motifs, Techniques, and Modern Makers” by Ned and Jody Martin. Extremely fabulous collector’s piece. Asking $850 or best offer. Serious inquiries only please.
