Fantastic mid-1800’s gunstock war club with a trade iron blade. This example exhibits the brass tack “circle of life” design as well as numerous other rows of tack adornment. Blacksmith forged spear point dag type blade is set with a long tang that is peened over in classic fashion for a club of this period. Measures just under 31” long with a 8-1/4” long blade. Shows age commensurate wear with no wiggles to the blade. Museum quality and very displayable. Missing from most frontier weapons collections.
